Business Analyst at Gannett Co., Inc., New York, NY

Gannett Co., Inc. Sports Media Group seeks a Business Analyst. This position is required to gather website/online product requirements from the Sales and Editorial stakeholders, and document and convey these requirements to web development and graphic design teams.

Serve as liason between the Sales and Editorial stakeholders and the web development and design teams.


Work within an Agile/SCRUM environment to document use cases and turn them into user stories.

Gather and document requirements across multiple platforms (mobile, web, tablet).

Work with Graphic Design team to integrate workflow and user experience into design comps

Bachelors Degree

Degree in Technology, Design and/or Media Studies preferred.

Candidates must have experience working on complex software projects / products with the ability to analyze and make decisions with minimum amount of information. The position is business and functionality focused; gathering and writing requirements. 

Qualified candidates will have solid written / verbal communication skills and strong Software Development life cycle experience including understanding of testing (which will be involved in usability testing). Business modeling and workflow experience (Visio) is preferred.
