Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for an IA Systems Engineer.

Summary: Using the approved processes and procedures (RDTEN Software Development Plan, Code 72400, Approved 12 April 2009), and in direct support of the Headquarters Interagency Systems Support Agreement (ISSA), candidate will provide engineering and technical services, software application design and/or development for:

  • Current and future state models of the business, information, application, technical and other architecture components, and Documents, reports and other deliverables to support the ISSA.
  • To implement strategies, plans and efforts in support of the ISSA.
  • Software application support for: SAP R3 BASIS; SAP R3 External Interfaces; VMWare; Domino; Apache Web Server;
  • Citrix; AutoCAD; Oracle Collaboration Suite; Oracle Application Suite, Oracle Balanced ScoreCard; WebMethods;
  • Remedy; Standard Procurement System; Primavera and Documentum
Corporate Business Applications. Additional applications supported include: Application Extender; SAP Portal; and WebMethods

Technical and administrative support services to integrate, test, and resolve NMCI service and infrastructure support problems and interface with other SSC Pacific IT support representatives to develop solutions. This support shall include Service Center accounts reconciliation; monitoring, maintenance, and data input to the NET and MAC databases; ad hoc queries and reports; analysis and maintenance of billing information; and system administration for passwords and storage allocation; and project management support. Candidate will be required to report related accomplishments, problems and recommendations via IART.

Using approved web tools, techniques, languages, and technologies, candidates provide services to implement new Science &Technology related applications including data query and data access applications.

  • Candidate will use HTML, World Wide Web authoring tools, and related tools to support additional, Government validated WWW applications.
  • Candidate will provide incidental user training in support of new or modified web pages.
  • Candidate will provide analysis, requirements definition, design, and development services for web-based knowledge management efforts in support of the Center’s Project Management Council (PMC).
Candidate will maintain and upgrade the phone based call-in mustering system for personnel at the Center and remote sites, used during periods of heightened security.

Desired qualifications include:

(a) Certifications attained within the Department of Defense Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Improvement Program.

(b) Certifications from Government or commercial entities that identify attainment of special skills, experience or training such as CISSP, CCSP, INFOSEC, formal degrees, etc.

(c) Certifications attained in general network and information system maintenance, operation and administration such as MCSE, CCNA, A Plus formal degrees, etc.
