Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer & Bus Analyst- North Houston at Robert Half Technology, Houston, TX
Classification: Programmer/AnalystCompensation: $77,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
Robert Half Technology is currently seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer & Business Analyst in North Houston.
This position is responsible for designing and implementing development changes to the system agreed by the business. The developer will follow the software development programs, policies and procedures that assure the maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, Microsoft Dynamics CORM 4.0, and Hitachi FSA (.NET Web application)system while meeting the development objectives of the company.
Design and develop Microsoft Dynamics AX system changes in the Morph development environment using X++ and other related technologies.
Determine if/how enhancements/simplifications can be achieved by system configuration, and/or extending current applications.
Ensure current information systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft SQL Server, Data Warehouse and others) are in working order and repair as necessary.
Design, develop and update reports in conjunction with multiple departments and individuals using Microsoft Dynamics AX reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and other tools.Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 2+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX development
Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills
Solid understanding of SDLC processes and IT best practices
The following qualifications are preferred:
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX Service, Project, General Ledger, and Trade & Logistics modules, strong finance acumen, SQL Server experience, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 experience, Hitachi Consulting's FSA module, Scribe Insight experience, Vertex tax software experience, MDX knowledge, SQL SSRS knowledge, SQL SSIS knowledge, SQL SSAS knowledge, SharePoint 2010 experience, PerformancePoint 2010 experience, AX, .NET, and SQL certifications a strong plus
