Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Technical Lead and manager of all development efforts, including building and leading a team of developers
Concept with Creatives on all digital work.
Evaluate client briefs for pitches and proposals with an eye toward meeting consumer and client expectations
Assign, monitor and ensure coding addresses all functional requirements, as well as compliance with any appropriate coding principles or standards
Ensure delivery within project timeframes and budget
Work with the Client Services and Project Managers to translate the client's business requirements into a sound technical architecture/approach and accompanying technical documentation, including QA test plans
Develop support proposal materials for business development as well as scoping and planning work
Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical people
At the very least, youll need:
A proven history of technology management experience working on large digital applications, with expert knowledge of web development and of multi-channel application architectures, including content management systems, portals (WebLogic), database & server configuration and systems admin understanding in both Windows and Linux environments
10+ years of related overall experience, which includes at least 7 years of experience in an agency or consulting environment
Advanced development skills with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery (or other comparable frameworks), LAMP stacks.
At least 6+ years of experience using and architecting ASP, ASP.Net, JSP, PHP or other frameworks used to develop dynamic web pages
Ability to design database tables, stored procedures and SQL queries
Hands-on knowledge of a key programming language such as Ruby on Rails
Proficiency in with Ajax methodologies
Great understanding of Subversion
CMS experience using Tridion, Adobe, and WP, EE, Drupal, Joomla
Strong intuition for solving UX challenges
API expertise (Twitter, FB, etc)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience or passion for mobile application and web development
Understanding of development work flow and familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience with Analytics Solutions (e.g. Omniture, WebSideStory, WebTrends)
Borderline obsessive-compulsive attention to detail, both visually and in religiously commenting your code
